Philadelphia's Andre Drummond, shown reacting after making a three-point shot in the third quarter at Sacramento, was fined $25,000 by the NBA for an "objectionable gesture"

New York (AFP) - Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond and Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs were each fined $25,000 by the NBA on Saturday for violations from games two days earlier.

Drummond was fined for making what was called “an objectionable gesture on the playing court” with eight seconds remaining in the third quarter of the 76ers’ 139-118 victory at Sacramento on Thursday.

Drummond made a motion to the Kings’ bench as if he were shooting a gun.

Suggs was fined for throwing his mouthpiece in the direction of the spectator stands, which brought a technical foul, with 5:35 remaining in the first quarter of Orlando’s 130-111 loss at Charlotte on Thursday.

The Magic, who have lost three games in a row, rank sixth in the Eastern Conference at 38-31.

Philadelphia ranks ninth in the East at 38-32, just ahead of Charlotte (36-34).
